Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Moose Lake Village, a 5-star rated, is hiring Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to work at our Health Care campus. These openings in the Health Care Center provides the opportunity to be a part of the management team, a Rehabilitation program, work with residents and direct nursing staff. In addition to generous benefits, we're offering a $10,000 Bonus!

Starting wage at $24.70 plus depending on experience. 

We have an expanded Loan Forgiveness program!!

There are Full-Time benefit eligible positions available working varied schedules including every other weekend.

Full-Time Shifts: 
Days (AM) (6:00 am to 2:30 pm) and Evenings (PM) (2:15 pm to 10:45 pm)

Full-Time is eligible for a $10,000 Bonus. Bonus payout will be discussed in the interview.

What does a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) do?

  • Displays a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff
  • Administers medications and/or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness/response
  • Manages medications, supplies, and equipment including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software
  • Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and takes follow up action as necessary
  • Performs additional duties as required

What does a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) require?

  • Graduate from an accredited Nursing program
  • Have a current MN Nursing license
  • CPR preferred but not required
  • Possess strong people and communication skills
  • Have a desire to care for the older population and others in need
