Osprey Wilds and Save the Boundary Waters are partnering with the creators of the album Echoes from Iron Ore to host a live music event on Saturday, June 12. Learn about the issues surrounding the BWCA and enjoy a night of live music, food, and camping. This event is family-friendly and will be held at Osprey Wilds Environmental Learning Center in Sandstone, Minnesota.
Echoes from Iron Ore is a collaborative, independent roots music album recorded in March 2021 in a small cabin at the edge of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area (BWCA). Produced by Dave Simonett (Trampled by Turtles, Dead Man Winter), the album features a cast of local musicians and will help raise money and awareness for the protection of the BWCA.
