Agate Encores Presents Ring of Kerry

Ring of Kerry regularly performs to sellout crowds, playing theatres year after year in return shows! Ring of Kerry concerts have been enthusiastically received by a wide range of audiences. In the twenty-one years the band has been playing Irish music together, they have heard thousands of positive comments about the act and the music they play. These compliments come from the entire spectrum of the population. Though they may express themselves very differently, the various groups of people – young, old, and middle-aged people, folkies, rockers, and classical listeners – tell how much they appreciate what Ring of Kerry does. The band was also honored to be a finalist in the prestigious McKnight artist fellowship for performing musicians award. The group is partly known for its musical arrangements which are developed to be interesting, driving, sometimes gently evocative, other times made for dance, and now and again pushing the limits of the traditional instruments on which they are played. One of Ring of Kerry’s trademarks in performance is the powerhouse vocals it features.
