VOLUNTEER WORK WEEKEND MAY 6th, 7th, 8th IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON ATTENDING PLEASE LET GMILLER@DULUTHYMCA.ORG KNOW SO THAT SHE CAN PLAN FOR NUMBERS Putting it out there once more that there will be a volunteer work weekend at camp at the beginning of May. I sure would love to meet many of you there if you are able. Projects would include but not limited to: - Painting - Cleaning - Light construction - landscaping - general camp beautification - Moving things from one place to another We can obviously host a good number of people overnights, the main body of work would be on Saturday the 7th but folks are certainly welcome to arrive Friday and potentially even get stuck in. I aim to host an advisory council meeting on the evening of the 6th and I hope to be able to form a few committee that i can then present to this group should you have a desire to get involved in any specific areas of camp in the future. Saturday night we will have a campfire and folks wanting to stay the night and finish off projects on Sunday will be more than welcome to. We aim to provide snacks and refreshments throughout the weekend so its important that we can get somewhat of an accurate number from Gina to plan accordingly and of course for cabin assignments as well. The Trading Post will be open at some point if you would like to purchase some new Camp Miller threads and opportunities to get your name up of the Giving Tree and help support camp in other ways as well.
